Hello! Goodbye! See old Friends! Miss family events! - ALL IS WELL

The Darren Sandwich Hug

Rose Katzu in Anseong with the Pyeontaeck Sisters - Sister Fu is from Taiwan and Sister Massera is from Oklahoma but her mother is Korean.  They have been so fun to work with!  We love them both.  Sister Massera joined the church about three years ago and she is an amazing missionary.  Her conversion story brings tears to my eyes!  We are so blessed with all the missionaries we have been able to meet and get to know.  The youth of the church are amazing and will make great leaders!

Spicy Pork with Darren Lunt and the Osan Sisters - When the single men sign up to feed sisters, they have to have another adult sister or couple go with them - we got to go on this fun outing.

Our beautiful Korean Friends from our Online Zoom Class!

We had dinner at a very nice Italian Restaurant!  It was called Sasquatch and we definitely will be going back!

Apartment Inspections in Sejeong, took us where Elder McBride and Elder Willis are serving - it was such fun to see them again!  The Korean Brother is our friend Johnny from our online  Zoom class - it was such a delight to get to meet him! He is amazing - funny how you can learn to love people you have never met through a zoom class!   He brought Elder Lowe a t shirt and me a cake - He said it was for his tuition!

So I have mentioned our "Darrens" before.  They are the best!  Very supportive and strong believers of our faith.  They have loved and supported all the friends and missionaries we bring to our activities, so we all got to get our "Darren Sandwich Hug"

Last Family Home Evening before Darren Hacking departed to go back to his family. Our numbers were few but lots of love in the room!

At the beginning of January, we needed to go south to Daejoeon and Sejoung and Gonju and Nonsan.  It was special to get to reconnect with some of the missionaries we have worked with before - we try to take as many of them to dinner or lunch as we can because we know they have all worked so hard to get their apartments cleaned.  Well, while we were in Daejeon, we came across these bridges when we went out to eat.  So beautiful - the pictures really don't do them justice!  This country has amazing bridges and tunnels.  So fun! One of these bridges is a walking bridge.  There is a lot of water in Korea.

Lunch with Sister Mills and Sister Morgan - they took us to a really fun little restaurant by their apartment in the Daijeon 2nd Ward area!  Sister Mills went home this transfer and we will really miss her!

Birthday lunch for Rachel Winston - a sweet momma in our branch with 8 children!  Their family is very supportive of anything the branch does- so we decided to have a birthday lunch get together.  Such fun!

Lots is happening at home!  We are sad to miss these events but grateful for the pictures of the memories!  Rylie has departed for her mission to Virginia. This was the family picture at her setting apart! And the picture with the Stake Presidency and her bishop!

Robb and Luke were ordained Deacons - Grateful to see this picture of Robbie and how happy                                     he is to be an Aaronic Priesthood Holder!  Congrats Bud! We love you!

We miss the moments with family but we have been so blessed while serving here in Korea getting to know our Family of God brothers and sisters!
The picture below is at the Red Cross Table for Newcomers - we do this every second and fourth Wednesday of the month - it has been fun to get to know the people there!

The next picture is a teaser of my next blog  - i am choosing not to add the info here as it will serve as it's own blog.  Stay tuned...
